Request a Landscape Quote

Stylized elevation-view illustration of a backyard landscape plan, living turf filling the lower third of the frame, a curving paver path through the middle ground, a young shrub hedge line along one edge, a small water-feature glint in the middle distance, warm daylight, a hand-drawn plan-line overlay tracing across the scene, no people or specific property shown

Most landscape quotes ask you to picture the finished yard in your head. Here, the plan goes up on screen first, an interactive walkthrough of what the finished yard will actually look like, before anything is built.

Questions

Landscaping in the Pee Dee, answered.

What grass does well in Florence's soil?
Florence sits in South Carolina's coastal plain, where soil tends to be sandy and often acidic. Warm-season grasses like centipede and zoysia are common choices here because they tolerate that soil and the region's long, humid summers better than cool-season grasses do.
When's the best time to start a landscaping project in the Pee Dee?
Spring and fall are the usual windows in this part of South Carolina, mild enough for new plants and sod to establish roots before summer heat or winter cold sets in.
My yard holds water after it rains, is that normal here?
It's common in the Pee Dee. The region is flat and low-lying, and heavy clay pockets in the soil can slow drainage after a hard rain. Grading and drainage work are usually what fixes it.
How does the design-preview software work?
Before anything is built, the design goes up on screen using interactive software that lets you walk through what your yard will actually look like, so changes happen in the plan instead of after the work is done.
